Astray Red and Blue Frame

Phew...done! With so much holidays for the past two months, I finally completed these. Took a considerable amount of time for doing something OOB, sigh... Anyway I always have the impression that the Astray has lots of seam lines to cover and numerous pre-paint modifications to be done. But to my surprise, they are few and far in between. Whilst the Blue Frame is relatively easy to paint, the scabbard, handle and the guard of the Red Frame requires masking. And they are pretty fragile. I have to separate the eyes and the camera lenses (at the top of the head) of the Red Frame to facilitate painting as well because there were seam lines to be covered. I liked the gigantic sword of the Blue Frame very much, looks damn impressive!!

Bandai U.C.Hard Graph series

The Bandai's new U.C.Hard Graph series. Hmmmmmm, I must admit, I am tempted to try one of these really soon. Besides doing "clean look" Gundams, I would love to do some military styled models. And i could really learn some weathering skills and also do different diaroma settings compared to the maintenance types I have done so far. I'm seeing myself doing something like this in the near future!

Gundam Mk-II (A.E.U.G.)

Just completed the Mk-II, A.E.U.G version. A friend of mine requested me to do one for him. Anyway,this kit is pretty much OOB except for some very minor modds. The details on this kit are pretty impressive so there is no need to detail it up any further. Definitely ideal for those who are into OOBs. Construction is relatively easy with very little seam lines to work on, except for the weapons as usual. Anywhere...here are the pictures.

The stock base is exactly quite detailed and it was a joy painting it. I like the catapult and the crane mechanism. Pretty realistic I must say.

Now, my next project is the Gundam Seed Astray Red Frame, which is also for another friend, phew... I was thinking I cleared all those kits I have to make for them and then get down to do the F91s and also the Strike Freedom, really can't wait.....
