Launcher Strike Gundam

First update on my current project. I'm doing a Launcher Strike Gundam and Freedom Gundam. I did a little conversion to the MG Strike since using parts from the NG Launcher Strike Gundam.

After some minor modifications and adjustments, I am able to fit the shoulder armament weapon and the back pack onto the MG Strike Gundam. Then I detailed up the whole model. I also scratch-built armor plate on the shoulder armament as the original is too small.

The next stage will be priming and more updates very soon!

Chaos Gundam

Of all the mechas in the Gundam Seed Destiny, the Chaos Gundam is my favourite Gundam. It looks pretty slick and unique in its own way. Building a [NG] Non-Grade kit do not really pose much problems since I do not consider filling seam lines a hassle. As usual minimum masking was required.

The original base was damaged in a "freak" accident. So i replaced it with a stand.

EX-S Gundam (Test type version)

The EX-S is one of my favourite designs in Gundam Sentinel. It looks very impressive even when unpainted. Assembly is pretty straight-forward considering there were hundreds of parts and minimum masking was required.

I took part in the Hobby Art Tetsujin Trophy Challenge 2005 organised by Hobby Art Gallery aka HAG with this kit. I came up with a different colour scheme as opposed to the usual blue or red version.

I took three months to complete this but the colour scheme did not turned out as expected....

However, my fellow modeller Leon, built one with the colour scheme that I could have die for. This is one sweet model.

Building this kit was certainly fulfilling and there is no doubt this will not be the last one I'll be doing. Hopefully there will be a breakthrough in my next attempt.

Why Toymaker?

Ok I admit I am a dimwit when it comes to blogging. After days of trying and testing, I finally realized my photos were taking up too much space and all I have to do was to resize them. And since everything is resolved now, I can finally get down to business....

I have been doing Gunpla for about 3 years now, and I thought I could have an "online diary" to post my works. Maybe by having a blog I could share my works with fellow modellers and contribute to the modelling scene here.

Furthermore, this will inspires and motivates me build more Gundams since I have so many kits yet to be completed.

For starters, I will post several of my old works and also updates on my current projects. And I may even post works of fellow modellers after I seek their permission. Hopefully I can make this Blog as enjoyable to read as it is informative.

My latest project consists of the Launcher Strike Gundam and the Freedom Gundam. Updates will come pretty soon.
