Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura - Day 3 (31 October 2012)

Day 3

I think i slept less than 3 hours. The effects of the steroids are kicking in making me very alert and at the same time, denying me sleep. That would be ideal for me if I was working on my GBWC project.

Today, there are good news. The Specialist explained that my Platelet level had dropped to 3000 from 7000. At least it didn't plummet to 0. I supposed that's the good news. Anyway, it's fairly obvious. One small prick on my hand resulted in a huge bruise. An early discharge seems impossible.

Well, I can't be feeling sorry for myself and thought I should make the most out of my predicament. Spent a few hours doing adjustments on my blog and finally got down to work on the Red Horn.

This series is certainly interesting to build. I have always been intrigued by these mechanical dinosaurs since young and this will be my first fully painted Zoid. I am pretty excited about it in fact. I stopped at head as I want to take my time assembling it.

Come to think of it, Gundams are getting all the attention but not many knew about these High Grade Zoids. Most of us will only remember its toy counterparts. Well, I think it's about time to let the locals see more of it. Hopefully, I can do it by building a few of my own first. I have already seen many customized Zoids online and inspired by some. So don't expect any OOB stuff from me either.

On the trail of GBWC 2012, I have just seen the entries from Thailand at Waylander blog post and my fave entries are the Golden Exia variation, Dark Hound and a couple more. Top notch works from our Thai friends as usual.
